Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Face Smash mobile application (“the App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

• You may play anonymously or sign in with a Google account.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You agree to choose a codename that is not offensive, impersonating, or infringing on others' rights.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or interfere with other players' multiplayer experience.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its services, except where permitted by law.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other players through codenames or in-game behavior.

5. Camera Use

The App uses your device camera for on-device head tracking only. By enabling camera access you consent to this use. Camera handling is described in our Privacy Policy. You may decline or revoke camera access and continue using available touch controls.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its artwork, characters, audio, and code, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding except as necessary to use the App as intended.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including Google Firebase (Authentication and Crashlytics) and Google ML Kit. Your use of those services may also be subject to the providers' own terms and policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or its online features if you breach these Terms or for operational reasons.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under your local law.
